Sales Representative (Remote)

FARCO is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, with a focus on commercial farm operations within the agriculture industry. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely in Northeast Arkansas while managing sales activities across multiple states, including Missouri, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, and Louisiana. Additionally, there is potential for expansion into Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas in the near future.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within commercial farm and grain operations.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expansion.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with existing customers to drive repeat business and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date on FARCO's products, services, and industry trends to effectively communicate value propositions to     customers.
  • Manage and prioritize sales activities within assigned territories to maximize efficiency and productivity.
  • Travel within the designated sales region to meet with customers, attend industry events and participate in trade shows, as     needed.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in sales, with experience selling to commercial farm and grain operations.
  • In-depth knowledge of the agriculture industry, particularly in Northeast Arkansas and surrounding regions.
  • Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate value propositions and close sales.
  • Excellent relationship-building and customer service skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, able to work independently and manage time efficiently.
  • Willingness to travel within the designated sales region.
